So it looks like pretty much everything is done now, there are a few bits and pieces needing to be cleaned up but otherwise a job well done.
MaxIsAwesome now looks different. I do slightly miss the old ripped paper, but it was starting to get old.
The new design is supposed to look more modern. I went back to the cool lights pictures, and tried to mix some wood in as well. Overall i think it looks slightly more professional.
Speaking of professional MaxIsAwesome probably wont exist into the new year, I’m looking to change this site into a portfolio and probably use a slightly more ‘relaxed’ name. So if you have any suggestions I’d love to hear them.

The year 2008 has been declared the International Year of the Potato by the United Nations, noting that the potato is a staple food in the diet of the world’s population, and affirming the need to focus world attention on the role that the potato can play in providing food security and eradicating poverty.[1] Food and Agriculture Organization is invited to facilitate its implementation.
The corresponding resolution adopted on 25 November 2005 by the Food and Agriculture Organization, which is to facilitate the implementation of the year, affirmed “the need to revive public awareness of the relationship that exists between poverty, food security, malnutrition and the potential contribution of the potato to defeating hunger.”
This is one of many international observances declared for specific days, months and years. The year 2008 is shared with the International Year of Sanitation.
It is hoped that International Year designation will do for the potato what the International Year of Rice (2004) did for that food staple, namely, inspire exhibits, educational programs, films, publications and greater public awareness of multi-national efforts on behalf of our food resources.
2008 has also been designated the National Year of the Potato in Peru.[2]

If your reading this you will have probably noticed that MaxIsAwesome.com has changed, so far its just the home page the blog has remained exactly the same. However its now maxisawesome.com/blog, depending on whether or not i can be bothered with mid year exams it probably wont be updated for a while.
But it might be redesigned yet again after that. Anyway its my dads birthday today so im at his house for dinner and it was my girlfriends birthday last week so i thought i will give her a big old huge font happy birthday.
